REFLECTION 9

This is my last reflection regarding to the assignment 1. I hope all of my sharing will be give some benefit to everyone who read. As soon as we entered the class, Mr. David did ask us about our assignment 2 assessment plan template progress and also ask if there is any query about it. Mr. David also told us to prepare ourselves for next week presentation. The requirement of the presentation is just we need to present our assessment plan and the time given is just 3 minutes to give all an opportunity to talk. I had completed my assignment so I just need to prepare a draft of my presentation and get ready to present my speech.

Besides, on this week lecture, we did learn about the outcome and the example of representative behaviour. What I understand from this week lecture is, there is eight (8) outcome involved in this topic. First is skills. The representative behaviour of this outcome is like speaking, writing, and also listening. Second is work habit. The example of behaviour is like the effectiveness of planning and also the use of time. For instance, we all do something for a reason and we did set the time to avoid time waste. We would use the time effectively and efficiently, so the work will be done and submitted on time. Next is, social attitude, scientific attitude, academic self-concept, interest, appreciation, and the last one is adjustment. The outcome above had their own representative behaviour. I will not explain each of it in detail since we all did come to this week lecture and have the notes, so I just want to summarize all of it in one simple sentence. For me, the outcome and the representative behaviour is just a simple basis knowledge where the representative behaviour is just a reflection of what we are doing. For example, for the outcome appreciation, we all did appreciate all of the things happened in our surrounding, the feelings of satisfaction in enjoyment expressed towards something such as music, arts, and etc. Moreover, Mr. David also explain about the procedure of observational technique which is consist of four techniques namely, anecdotal records, self- report, interest inventories, and the last one is personality measure. From these week topics, I completely understand that there is various way to assess the outcome since we are exposed to the representative behaviour and what type of procedure that appropriate to use when we are trying to assess someone. At the end of the lecture, Mr. David did ask all of us what are the today lesson is all about. He did praise all of us for giving attention to the lecture and the class is dismissed.

REFLECTION 8

On this week lecture, Mr. David do explained and brief about the progress of our assignment two which is we need to do an assessment of any subject that we choose. I was still in the level of blurred, and I honestly does not have any idea about the second tasks. Besides, Mr. David do explained about how to construct a rubrics and the requirement of a presentation that will be held on next week.

Besides that, Mr. David also explained about the typical outcome, advantage of interpretive exercise, also limitation of interpretive exercise. From what I understand, interpretive exercise has many advantages such as, interpretive exercise make it possible to measure more complex learning outcome that can be measured with a single objective items. Moreover, interpretive exercise minimized the influence of irrelevant information in the measurement of complex learning outcome. Besides, interpretive also have a limitation. The most and major limitation was the difficulties of construction.

REFLECTION 7

On this week lecture, Mr. David are discussing about performance-based assessment. As soon as Mr. David start to explain about this week topic, I am started to curious about what type of assessment that include in this (performance-based) assessment. After that, I noticed that performance -based assessment require student to start with simple multiple choice/short answer question and then ask for an explanation of the answer. From what I understand performance-based assessment are divided into two, namely, authentic and alternative assessment.

In addition, we were given a "mini" test where Mr. David turn off the slide and we required to write down the content of the slide previously. This is on purpose to identify and measure how far our focus and memory to the explanation just now. For me, it is good for our lecturer for testing us right over the lecture, so that, we would maximized our attention and seek for another explanation to gain extra knowledge about the topic discussed.

I will inserted the picture of  "mini" test that been held on our class, I am not giving too much attention while the lecture started and I gave the wrong answer on that test. Never mind, I would pay attention on the next classes and give better reflection for everyone who read.
